 PROFESSIONAL CAREER: 

  After winning the most prestigious competitions: 

 The international competition Minas 2008 "El Desplante"

The national competition of Córdoba 2007, Solea

Best dancer in the Certamen de Danza Española y Flamenco de Madrid on two occasions. 

After having formed part of the following companies as soloist or guest artist: 

Manuela Carrasco, El Güito, Tomatito, Enrique Morente, Gerardo Nuñez, Enrique de Melchor…

After creating 5 of his own shows: 

"Camino Flamenco", " Grito", "Mirando Atrás", "Dos Mundos", "En candela", with which he has participated on various occasions in the most prestigious Flamenco Festivals:

Bienal de Sevilla, Festival de Jerez, Festival de las Minas, Suma Flamenca, Madrid en danza…

We are, without a doubt, looking at one of the most important artists of his generation. 

 

2012

At present, he collaborates as guest artist with Tomatito, Niño Josele, Móntse Cortés.

He collaborated as guest artist in the show "Made in Jerez", by Gerardo Nuñez in the Festival de Jerez 2012.

He premiered his new show"Camino Flamenco" in the Festival Flamenco de Alburquerque, at the same time as taking his show "Mirando Atrás " to  Festivals such as "Flamenco Leal" Santa Cruz de Tenerife and "Festival de Marsella", France. 

2011

He began to work as guest artist with the great guitarist Tomatito.

He was requested to choreograph the part of flamenco for the mega production "Magnifico" , by the prestigious Austrian director André Heller. 

He realised the European tour, "La Barraca" with his show ¨Mirando Atrás¨, (Belgium, Holland and Switzerland.) 

He participated in the Festival "Flamenco de Tokio", along with Farruquito, La Moneta, Luis de Luis, Olga Perifé,  La Piñona.

He participated in the Festival de Moscú, with the show ¨Mirando Atrás¨, alongside Antonio Canales, Mercedes Ruiz, Javier  Latorre…

2010

He premiered a new show, called "Grito" in the Flamenco Festival of Torrelodones with Jose Maya, before taking it to festivals such as the Suma Flamenca 2010 and the Bienal de Sevilla 2010.

2009

He premiered his show "Mirando Atras" in the Flamenco Festival Gomaespuma "Flamenco Pa Tos", alongside artists such as Tomatito, El Grilo, Jose Maya, Estrella Morente.

 With this show he has performed in many prestigious flamenco festivals such as:

Festival de Jerez 2009

Festival Internacional Cante De Las Minas (La Unión) 2009

La Suma Flamenca 2009 

Festival de Milan 2009

2008

He received the prize "El Desplante" in the prestigious International Festival, Cante De Las Minas (la Unión).

He began to work as guest artist with Montse Cortés.

He was also named guest artist in the new flamenco quintet of the guitarist Niño Josele.

He collaborated with Enrique Morente, in his show “Omega” and on his new CD ¨Pablo De Málaga¨.

2007

He became soloist with the company "Noche Flamenca", with whom he toured the USA, South America, England and Germany. 

He received the National Prize of Cordoba, Eduardo Serrano "El Güito", dancing solea in the national competition, Arte Flamenco De Córdoba.

2006

Collaboration as guest artist with Guadiana

Collaboration as guest artista in the Certamen de Coreografía de Danza Española y Flamenco , in the Albéniz Theatre. 

2005

The show “Tierra y Arena” together with Tatiana Garrido as guest artist on a tour of South America. 

“El flamenco”, Tokyo, with a reduced version of his company (for six months). 

2004

He collaborated on the show “Duende”, as choreographer and guest artist alongside Isaac de los Reyes, Nino de los Reyes y Jose Maya. 

2003

He formed part of the show “Hombres Flamencos”, as choreographer and guest artist, with Isaac and Nino de los Reyes.

He collaborated as guest artist with Gerardo Nuñez.

2002 

Collaboration as guest artist with Enrique de Melchor

 Collaboration as guest artist with La Susi

2001

Collaboration as guest artist with Rubén Dantas. 

He presented the show “Dos Mundos” with Jose Maya at the Gala de la Hispanidad (Manila-Philippines). 

2000

He presented his own company with the show “En Candela”, forming part of the festival Madrid en Danza.

1999

He formed part of the Company of Rafael de Córdoba, as principal dancer. 

He formed part of the Company of Ricardo Franco, as principal dancer (from 1999 until 2002). 

1998

He was soloist in the Company of Güito, (from 1998 until 2002).

He was soloist in the Company of Manuela Carrasco, (from 1998 until 2001).

He won the prize for Best Dancer in the Certamen de Coreografía de Danza Española y Flamenco (in the Theatre Albéniz, Madrid) alongside Jose Maya.

1997

He was soloist in the Company of Ricardo Franco and soloist in the Company of Manolete. 

1996

He won the prize for Best Dancer in the Certamen de Coreografía de Danza Española y Flamenco (in the Albéniz Theatre, Madrid). 

 He formed part of the Company of Adrian Galia.

1994

He was given a special mention in the Certamen de Coreografía de Danza Española y Flamenco (in the Albéniz Theatre, Madrid), as Best Dancer. 

 


 PROFESSIONAL TRAINING:

From 1989 until  1995 he began his professional training in the academy of Rafael de Córdoba, where he completed his studies for the Royal Conservatory of Dance, obtaining outstanding results. He specialised in Flamenco with the teachers: Güito, Manolete, María Magdalena, Cristobal Reyes, Juan Ramírez, Domingo Ortega, La China, Antonio Canales, Javier Latorre....
